DENIS WOYCHUK
Denis Woychuk is a graduate of Fordham University School
of Law, where he taught for several years. He is the founder and principal
owner of KGB Bar and the Kraine Theater in the East Village, an icon of
arts and culture in NYC for many years.
This is actually his second rock musical; the first was
"The Damned" (2001), co-authored with William Electric Black
with music by Thomas Simon, presented at The Red Room Theater. His other
writings include the memoir, "Joseph McCarthy Ruined My Father's
Life" (in "American Monsters," edited by Jack Newfield
and Mark Jacobson, Thunder's Mouth Press, NYC 2004), "The Other Side
of the Wall," a philosophical children's book about a hippopotamus
and a mouse who fall in love, and its sequel, "Pirates!"
